A Peaceful Place...
Recently when my niece Elizabeth Marie was visiting me, she said "Juju (yes, I will always be Juju to my nieces even tho' they are all grown up now)... "Juju... you have a peaceful home"... to me, I think that is the nicest compliment I have ever received about our home... "a peaceful home"... I love the sounds of that... too many hectic things going on in the world today... my soul seeks out peace and quiet... a soft place to land so to speak... and I am happy my niece sees my home as being that way... I also want my blog to embrace that peaceful, serene feeling... when you come to visit Idyllhours, I would love for you to think it too is a peaceful place... leave your cares behind... even for just a little while... and let your daydreams flourish...
Here Nature is a part of each and every day... from the tiniest flower to the softest cooing of the mourning doves from nearby in the trees... where angels whisper and butterfly kisses fill the air...
Where the day~to~day goings~on in my garden beg you to slow down... relax... and enjoy life...
St. Francis watches over my gardens... and all who enter...
Make a wish... and the flower~fairies will do their best to make it come true...
But most of all...
Be happy... it's Springtime... count your many blessings... you are always most welcome here... in my "peaceful home" and gardens... and this little place called Idyllhours... xoxo...

Beautiful....and happy post...love from Holland.....xxx...xxx..
I think that is a wonderful comment, Julie Marie. WHAT a compliment to have bestowed upon yourself.
When my 5 year old granddaughter comes over and we turn down into our drive she ALWAYS says, Nana, you have such a beautiful home. I always thought that was funny that at this age she would even think of something like that. AND, her own home is beautiful cuz her Mom makes it that way.
I think what she finds here is that this home is filled with love for her and others...which makes it beautiful in her eyes.
Maybe that is the "peace" your niece finds in your home...love and acceptance which gives her a peaceful heart. xo Diana
You have, indeed, created a blog full of bliss and contentment. I love coming here to visit and I also love your garden fairies!
Hello Julie Marie! I feel the peace here!! Hey, I just love your header photo. It is gorgeous!! Hope you're having a good weekend.
I just felt my blood pressure go down just reading this dear friend. It's so nice to stop over and chat with you tonight. I do think that is the nicest thing anyone can say about a home.
hugs from here...
Lovely fairies and St. Francis residing overall does bring a peaceful presence. So do you my friend.
Peaceful and beautiful. I would love to come visit in person...!
Oh so wonderfully peaceful!!
I'm so happy to ~meet~ you!! I'm following along now!!
New follower here. You've made me realize that my idlehours are spent on the computer. That's not 'idle' or ideal.
But with all the work you put into your surroundings, it's hard to believe you HAVE any idle hours!
